Local-first by default

Clipboard and notification context stays on your Mac, with privacy filtering applied before data is written to disk.

Story-first reading

You read the day as a narrative first, then drill down into paragraph-level source evidence when you want context.

Works even without cloud AI

Fallback story generation keeps the daily journal usable when no external summarizer is configured.
